Did you know there are almost 200 million people using Twitter? how about this one - Twitter is the #10 most visited site in the world? Holy moly!
Alexa.com is one my favorite resources for internet traffic material. Take a peek at today's report for Twitter and notice at where Twitter is going. In the last three months alone the tally of people using Twitter has snowballed by over 10% trouncing even Facebook, the number 2 site in the world, which only achieved a mere 8% over the same interval. Twitter is hot hot hot!
So how can you use Twitter to market your own mlm business? Here are ten twitter marketing strategies.
1. First, if you don't already have an account go to twitter.com and set up one.
2. Now, it helps to look good when you set up your profile. Choose a nice smiling picture of yourself to upload. I don't know about you but I kind of like nice smiling faces.
3. Next, when you write your profile bio don't do what everyone else is doing. Find an approach to make yourself conspicuous. Make yourself noticeable. If you like, be outrageous.
4. Remember that Twitter is like a 24 hour party. Don't beat people over the head with your sales pitch the first chance you get. Develop a connection based on trust. The number one mistake of network marketers is they try to make the sale before they have developed a relationship.
5. Seek out content and value and share this by tweeting it to others. Help solve peoples' problems.
6. SocialOomph.com is your best friend on Twitter. It's free so go ahead and try it. With SocialOomph you can:
-automatically follow others who follow you
-automatically send out a response to people who follow you
-be notified when they @mention you.
7. You'll end up sounding robotic if you automate your tweets on SocialOomph. So don't. And when you reply to somebody who has just followed you keep in mind, don't sock them with a sales message. Be an actual person. Be approachable.

10. It is essential to build your business every day. Make it a daily exercise to:
- Scan, comment and retweet 10 MLM or marketing blogs in your category. If possible be the first to comment.
- Search out and follow 20 MLM leaders on Twitter. you may find these two sites useful: Twellow.com and Search.twitter.com
- Find a way to present your business opportunity to at least 2-5 people.
- Come up with one new piece of content.
